COVID-19

Brock Community Health Centre is committed to the safety and well-being of our clients, our staff and the community at large.  This includes implementing measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19.  Brock CHC is closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and is following updates, guidelines and advice suggested by the Ontario Ministry of Health, the Central East LHIN and the Alliance for Healthier Communities.

Our Primary Care buildings are open for you and we continue to provide services, both in-person and virtually.  Due to the need to maintain physical distancing, we are triaging client needs and doing as much virtual care as possible.

Clients will be screened upon entrance to any Brock CHC facility and are required to wear a mask.  Clients and are being asked to pre-screen themselves before attending any appointments.  If you have any new or worsening symptoms of COVID, we urge you to stay at home and contact your healthcare provider.  [Cannington – 705.432.3388 | Beaverton – 705.426.4636]

Community-based programs such as our exercise and wellness classes continue to be run through the Zoom platform until we can safetly resume these types of activities in person.

Brock Community Health Centre is able to respond to questions and concerns you may have about vulnerable individuals in our community.  If you have a friend, neighbour or family member that you are worried about, please call 705.432.3322 ext. 104 to speak to Jennifer Josephson, Seniors and Community Health Worker.  We are currently offering practical solutions to assist individuals with accessing food and supplies, assistance with health care questions and connection to other services and supports.  We appreciate that this is a challenging time for everyone and are doing our best to respond to all questions and concerns in a timely manner.
