New Programs This Summer!

July 11, 2023

Brock CHC has put together a few new programs to keep you busy this summer!

Gentle Yoga

Mondays from 1-2pm
St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Beaverton

Cultivate body awareness and foster a deep connection with yourself. Through gentle movements and stretches, participants will engage their muscles mindfully, promoting strength, flexibility, and vitality. Whether you are a beginner or have previous experience, these classes will offer a unique approach to yoga, specifically tailored for individuals seeking a gentle and accessible practice. Participants can choose to practice from a mat, in a chair, or a mix of both.

Mindful Yoga

Wednesdays from 9-10am
Virtual through Zoom

This is a gentle yoga and meditation practice to help calm the mind, relax the body, ease stiffness and discomfort, improve balance, strength and flexibility, and get to know yourself better.

Qigong

Mondays from 10-11am
Manilla Community Hall

Qi means “energy” and Gong means “to work with”. Qigong is working with the body’s energy. We will explore the causes of energy blockages in the body by warming up the body and doing some active exercises. This practice can be done sitting or standing.
