Dynacare to Open New Community Lab in Brock Township to Expand Access to Local Health Services

Dynacare and Brock Community Health Centre are thrilled to announce the opening of a new community lab located within Brock Community Health Centre’s new facility at 39 Cameron Street W., Cannington, bringing enhanced access to lab services directly to the local community.
The new community lab will provide a convenient, accessible option for local residents requiring blood work and other diagnostic testing, reducing travel times and wait periods. The integration of community lab services within the health centre supports the CHC Model of Health and Wellbeing and aligns with the province’s vision towards Health Homes models.
“We realize there has been a need for lab services for the whole community,” said Janet McPherson, Executive Director of Brock CHC. “By opening a community lab within the new Brock CHC facility, we’re addressing that need by bringing essential lab services closer to home for thousands of residents.”
Dynacare offers an extensive service menu with over 1,500 tests derived from blood and urine collection as well as glucose tolerance testing and naturopath collection. We also offer prenatal health diagnostic testing with our Dynacare HarmonyTM non-invasive prenatal test.

The lab will open June 16, 2025 and will operate Monday to Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm. It will offer a full range of bloodwork collection and routine tests requested from external primary care providers, specialists, and other health centre services to support comprehensive care delivery. Dynacare will be accepting walk-ins and Net Check In.
This joint initiative reflects a broader commitment to community-based healthcare solutions that prioritize accessibility, equity, and patient-centered care.
