The Alzheimer Society of Durham Region (ASDR) has officially opened a Brock Hub, located at Brock CHC in Cannington!

This growing partnership reflects ASDR’s commitment to supporting individuals living with dementia and their care partners in North Durham. By working together, we’re making it easier for families to access meaningful programming and support close to home.

Every Thursday, ASDR staff will be on-site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to provide information, resources, and guidance about their programs and services.

As well, The Social is running at Brock CHC and there are still spaces available! This weekly program is designed for individuals living with early to mid-stage dementia. It offers a welcoming space to connect with others, engage in activities tailored to participants’ interests, and enjoy time together. Care partners benefit from dedicated respite time while their loved ones participate.
