Brock Community Health Centre is committed to the safety and well-being of our clients, our staff and the community at large. This includes implementing measures to reduce the risk of dangers like COVID-19. Brock CHC is closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and is following updates, guidelines and advice suggested by the Ontario Ministry of Health, the Central East LHIN and the Alliance for Healthier Communities.
Please note that Brock CHC has suspended all community-based programs to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19. Our Primary Care buildings remain open and we will continue to provide services on an altered schedule to clients for mainly urgent needs only. Clients will be screened upon entrance to any Brock CHC facility and are being asked to pre-screen themselves before attending any appointments. If you have a fever, a new cough or have difficulty breathing, we urge you to stay at home and contact your healthcare provider. [Cannington – 705.432.3388 | Beaverton – 705.426.4636]
Although our community-based programs have been postponed until further notice, Brock Community Health Centre can still respond to questions and concerns you may have about vulnerable individuals in our community. If you have a friend, neighbour or family member that you are worried about, please call 705.432.3322 and ask to speak to Jennifer Josephson, Seniors and Community Health Worker. We are currently looking at practical solutions to assist individuals with accessing food and supplies, assistance with health care questions and connection to other services and supports. We appreciate that this is a challenging time for everyone and are doing our best to respond to all questions and concerns in a timely manner.
