MPP Rick Johnson Announces Construction of New Brock CHC
Brock Community Health Centre (Brock CHC) is pleased to announce that the Ontario government has provided approval for Brock Community Health Centre to design and construct a new 24,745 square foot health care facility for the residents of Brock Township and vicinity. The new centre will accommodate the programs provided by the organization and will be located at 39 Cameron St. W. in Cannington, on land currently owned by Brock CHC. Approval Received for Pre-Tender Documents Related to the Demolition and Remediation at 39 Cameron St. W., Cannington
Brock Community Health Centre (Brock CHC) is pleased to announce that approval has been received from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) for the pre-tender documents related to the demolition and site remediation at 39 Cameron St. W. in Cannington. This is the site of the future new facility to be built over the next two to three years to accommodate the programs and services provided by Brock CHC. The approval will pave the way for inviting public tenders from qualified companies to demolish the building on the site and complete corresponding remediation. Brock CHC Primary Health Care Program Has Relocated
Brock Community Health Centre (Brock CHC) has re-located its Primary Health Care Program (PHCP) to 64 Cameron St. E. in Cannington from its previous location at 123 Laidlaw St. S. in Cannington. The new location offers dedicated, accessible, modern facilities in a modular unit on the main street in Cannington. PHCP provides primary health care services to close to 1,000 clients from Brock Township and vicinity. Click here to view the media release for further information.
Lett Architects Inc. Selected for Capital Project for Brock CHC
Brock Community Health Centre (Brock CHC) has announced that Lett Architects Inc. of Peterborough, Ontario will be providing consulting and architectural services for its new facility to be built over the next two to three years at 39 Cameron Street West in Cannington. Relocation of Brock CHC's Primary Health Care Program
Brock Community Health Centre (Brock CHC) has announced that its Primary Health Care Program (PHCP) is relocating from its present location to a modern, modular medical unit to be erected on vacant land at 64 Cameron St. E. in Cannington. The program currently provides primary health care services to over 700 clients from Brock Township and vicinity. Click here to view the media release. Physical Activity Coordinator Hired for Brock Township
Brock Community Health Centre (Brock CHC) on behalf of the Brock Physical Activity Network is pleased to announce Nathan Gardner as the Physical Activity Coordinator in the Township of Brock. OTF Grant Awarded to Brock Township's Physical Activity Plan
A $212,300 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation is helping to advance the implementation of the Township of Brock's Physical Activity Plan. On Monday, January 11, 2010, local MPP Rick Johnson and Dr. Ramesh Makhija, a volunteer with the Foundation met with members of the Brock Physical Activity Network to present them formally with a plaque in recognition of their efforts to provide more opportunities for people of all ages to stay active. Brock CHC Welcomes New Members
As a non-profit organization, Brock Community Health Centre (Brock CHC) is governed by its membership. Members have full voting rights at General Membership Meetings and at the Annual General Meeting. Members will receive regular communications about the Centre and have many opportunities to contribute to the health services being developed for the residents of Brock Township. Members are eligible for nomination and election to the Brock CHC Board of Directors if they choose.
If you are interested in being a member of Brock CHC, please complete the Membership Application Form and submit it to the address on the form. Members must be 18 years of age or older, reside or work in Brock Township, or receive care from Brock Community Health Centre.
